Good afternoon,
Hope everyone is having a great week and is enjoying this warm weather.
We had another successful week working on the golf course as we got numerous projects done. Our goal is to continue to make sure the golf course heads in the correct direction. This past week we placed new sod on the side hill of number six (6) to make that area look better. We also fertilized the golf course as we continue to recover from our last boom spray which worked on eliminating the weeds. We also started with the aerification of the fairways as we continue to push for positive growth and continue to get a better root base as well.
Next week our plans for the golf course are to finish the aerification of the fairways in addition to fertilizing all fairways and tee boxes. We will also verticut the greens and do a light top dressing on all greens. Each week the golf course continues to get in better condition, and we have seen a lot of positive growth and helpful comments. Our goal is to still have a better conditioned golf course and put in place a solid plan to get there.
We have opened up the following events and hope we continue to see these grow. Please sign up for:

· September 14th – Tunnel to Tower – 8:30 Shotgun
We really hope to see a large number of players for these events, as we continue to try to make them better. Also, please come to my quarterly meeting this Tuesday, July 16th at 2:00 pm in Fairfax Hall. This meeting will give everyone an update on our progress and other plans we have put in place for the golf course and the F&B Department.

F&B had a decent week as last weeks specials were very successful. We sold out a few days this week, and thanks to everyone that came to the Italian night, it was another successful evening.

We continue to grow as a team and have had numerous wonderful comments on the exciting changes to the Golf Course. We had tons of positive comments on the F&B area, as we continue to work with the team and make sure everyone has better understanding of the direction we are heading in. We still have a long way to go to get to the direction I would like to see us be in, but each day gets better. We learn something new each day. I appreciate the support and let’s continue to make ARGC the place to be for golf and food…
