Jason's Weekly De-Scramble 6.14.24

Good afternoon,

I hope everyone is having a great week and enjoyed the nice weather this week.

We had a successful week working on the golf course and got a lot of work done. We boomed sprayed the entire golf course this past Monday and Tuesday as we are trying our best to stay on top of these weeds as much as possible and make sure we continue to work on getting the condition everyone is looking for. Unfortunately, we didn’t get the rain they predicted for us to get this week, as we barely got over an inch of rain. With that said, we will continue to syringe areas of the golf course as we still have a lot of hot spots. So, if you see irrigation running, it will turn off as it will only run 3 to 5 minutes in these areas.

Next Monday, June 17th, we will be aerifying the greens again and the golf course will be closed. We are taking a big core this round and heavy top-dressing as well. With this aerification, it will take a few weeks to get the greens back to normal. As I know, right now they are very healthy and look great as they have come a long way in the past few months.

I know we have a great plan in place as our main focus is getting the golf course in better condition and work on it daily. As I have been saying we need lots of rain badly!!

Please sign up for the next event:

· July 4th – Red, White, & Blue Scramble – 8:30 Shotgun

Hopefully everyone has had a chance to stop by the golf shop and meet Emma as she’s been a great addition to the team and brings lots of great ideas to help in the golf shop. Also, if you get a chance, stop by, and check the new men’s and ladies’ hats and visors that came in this week and have our club logo on them. We also received new men’s and ladies’ shirts.

We appreciate all the support in the golf area and I’m very excited about the future as we continue to grow as a team daily.

F&B had a slower week as I know there are a lot of people traveling and I want to thank everyone that came out last night for the Italian Night as that was another successful evening and heard a lot of great comments.

Please see below for the specials for next week and call and make a reservation and come try these wonderful specials:

Also, for the month of May we finished in each department with the following numbers:

· Golf - $-14,717.00 – We were over budget in Maintenance Labor $4,000 over and Expenses $8,000 over as we are working very hard to get the golf course in better conditions daily.

· F&B - $5,288.00 in the positive and $27,970.00 better than 2023

We are working very hard to make ARGC a better property and continue to teach, coach, and train each staff member to be better daily as well. We truly appreciate everyone’s support, and we are looking forward to the future as more good things are coming.

If anyone has any questions, please let me know.

Thanks,
