Jason's Weekly De-Scramble 5.17.24

Good afternoon,

Hope everyone is having a great week and is excited about the rain we’ve had and really needed.

We had another successful week on the golf course as we have finished spraying all 18 holes for weeds. You will notice a lot of brown spots on the golf course as this is the weeds finally dying. They will start to green up with the rain we have had and with the irrigation as well. As I said before, we will start over again next week with spraying weeds as we are determined to stay on top of this process.

Next week on Monday May 20th we will be aerifiying the greens and the Golf Course will be closed so that the team can finish everything on Monday. We will also continue to work on small, detailed work to get the Golf Course in the conditions we all want. We did get some much-needed rain this week. We’ve received almost 3 inches of rain which helped with the sludge that was put down last week and we will see the Golf Course get greener.

We are very committed to continue to work hard on the course. We have a lot of plans put in place to get to our goals.

Hope everyone is enjoying the 8:00 am start times, while everyone is beating the heat. Please stop by the Golf Shop and see if we have your sizes in shirts or shoes. Next week we will be running a sale of 35% off all apparel items in the Golf Shop as we get ready for new Merchandise to arrive and get some fresh items in the Golf Shop.

Please sign up for the following events:

  • June 1st – ARGC – Woman’s Day – 8:30 Shotgun Start
  • June 6th – ARGC Par 3 Challenge – 8:00 Shotgun Start

I know some individuals have stopped by and picked up their shirts from the Member / Guest if you haven’t had a chance, please stop by the Golf Shop and make sure you get yours if you played.
The F&B Department had another successful week as we continue to head in the correct direction. We continue to make positive changes and grow in this area. Our goal is to train the staff on many different areas and teach them the importance of keeping everything clean.

I hope everyone has a great weekend and thanks for the support,

Thanks,
