Good afternoon,
Hope everyone is having a great week and is enjoying this nice hot weather…
As April closed and we get ready for the CDD Meeting next Thursday, I just want to share the following numbers with everyone:
· Golf – $1,000.00 in the black and we beat budget.
· F&B – $823.00 in the Black and $17,638.00 better than last year’s number.
Hopefully everyone has been seeing the work that we have been doing on the golf course as we are getting close to our first Aerification on Monday May 20th. We’ve sprayed a lot of the weeds again this week, and I know it doesn’t look great with all the dead spots, but we are trying our hardest to stay on top of these weeds. This will help us continue to get the golf course in better conditions. We got most of the sludge on the golf course this week and will continue to put this out over the weekend as well.
Next week, we will Verticut the greens on Monday and get rid of some of the thatch or grain out of the greens. We will also put more work and resources to improve the detail work for the golf course. I know we are heading in the right direction. Now, we just need some much-needed rain, with the forecast next week looking like we should get some. We will also start mowing some areas next week as we’ve started to see some growth in areas.
As I say weekly, we are 100% committed to continue to put the golf course first and make sure we work hard daily to get to the conditions we all want…
We want to thank everyone that played last Saturday in the Mela-No-More Event. It was a very successful event and they raised over $10k for the cause… It’s so wonderful how the community supports these events and that we raised money to help these causes.

Another reminder that the Golf Course will be closed on Monday May 20th for aerification, and we will be aerifiying the greens this day. We will aerify the rough and fairways this summer and I will let you know the dates we will start this process.

Another successful week in the F&B Department as we’ve had some busy days this week and we truly appreciate everyone’s support. We continue to get better each week and grow.

Everyday we continue to grow and get better in every area of the property. We truly appreciate everyone’s support and comments on the positive changes we’ve made. I know this hasn’t been an easy change for everyone, but we will continue to learn, listen, and get better.
