Good afternoon,
I hope everyone is having a great week and enjoying this beautiful spring weather!!!
Once again, in my opinion, we had another successful week working on the golf course. The weather we’ve had is helping tremendously with some positive growth and I can see more growth in the fairways and roughs. We have continued to spot spray all the weeds. This is a very important priority for us, as we continue to spray daily.
With this warmer weather and with the growth we are getting, we will start verticutting the greens next week as we want to stay ahead of the thatch in the greens. With doing this, we will slowly start to lower the heights on the greens as well. We will also be fertilizing wall to wall next week, and Danny has many projects that we discussed this week. We are striving to have the best golf course in the area and 100% committed to working on it daily.
I would like to thank everyone for signing up for the Member / Member as our field for this event is 76 players… This is the biggest member event since I’ve been here and I’m very excited for a successful event. Please see the timeline for next week's tournament:
· Wednesday – 4.10.24 – Opening Party in the Dining Room and Oak Room starting at 5:00 pm
· Thursday – 4.11.24 – Registration / Breakfast starts 7:30 in the Dining Room
· Friday – 4.12.24 – Breakfast starts at 7:30 in Dining Room
· Saturday – 4.13.24 – Danish at Chatham’s starting at 7:30.
After golf we will have a luncheon in the Dining Room with scoring and awards.
We are very excited about this year’s event as we have some nice meals planned and we are expecting more beautiful weather. If you have any questions, please stop by the Golf Shop and we can assist.

Also, next Thursday is my quarterly Membership meeting at Fairfax Hall starting at 2:00. I look forward to seeing everyone there.
We are off to a great start in April in the F&B Department, and we are looking to have positive growth the restaurant. We truly appreciate the support, and we still want to see the reservation number continue to grow as well. I would like to thank everyone that supported the Easter Brunch as I believe this was yet another successful event. We were very busy at the noon time slot, and we did our best with seating everyone. We have already discussed plans for future events like this to make sure we do our best to make everyone happy.
