Jason's Weekly De-Scramble 4.19.24

Good evening,

I hope everyone is doing well and having a great week…

We had another great week at Arlington Ridge Golf Club as we are slowly moving in the right direction. The weather has been better and we are getting improved growth. We continue to spray for weeds on a daily basis, and I continue to see them starting to die. In addition, we continue to verticut the greens and slowly lower the blades on the mowers as the greens continue to get healthier. We want to start getting better green speeds with a more consistent roll.

Next week, on Monday, we are not opening the course until 10:00 am as we are doing our Chipco Choice treatment. This will help with Mole Crickets and other insects. We will be fertilizing the back nine as well and punching the weak areas on #5 and #16 to get some oxygen in these greens to continue promoting positive growth. We have a lot of work to get down on the golf course, and we have a good plan for the next few weeks as we will get this golf course in better conditions.

I want to thank everyone for playing in the Member / Member and please congratulate the winners:

Please notice that starting the week of May 9th all the 8:30 Shotguns have been moved to 8:00 am to beat the warmer weather.

Thanks for all the support and I’m very excited about the plans and the future of the Golf Course.
