Jason's Weekly De-Scramble 3.8.24

Good afternoon,

I hope everyone is having a great week...

I hope this letter finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to update you on the latest improvements and expected actions on our golf course.

Over the past week, our team has been hard at work making improvements to the golf course, including weed control, fertilization, and work on the greens. We sprayed all weeds this week and will start seeing the Poa & Broadleaf dying. We fertilized all tee boxes, fairways, and roughs this week. We also spiked and did a light top-dress this week on the greens as well, this will help the ball roll. I’ve seen numerous improvements on the greens this week and they are starting to have a positive turn around and this weather is helping.

For the next week, we will continue to work on weed control and put another application on tees, fairways, and roughs. We will continue to work on the greens and get them in the condition we all are looking for. We continue to work to have a better golf course and work on conditions weekly. We had some positive ride arounds with Danny, and he has a solid plan each week.

There are several exciting tournaments and events coming up at Arlington Ridge Golf:

Please sign up as we are planning on each event to continue to have great events.

  • The Veterans Tournament is tomorrow, with an 8:30 Shotgun start.
  • The Member/Guest event is on March 22nd, 23rd, and 24th, with each day starting at 8:30.
  • The Member/Member event is on April 11th, 12th, and 13th, with each day starting at 8:30 Shotgun. We hope to see you there!

We have some exciting news to share with you about the restaurant at Arlington Ridge Golf! Our team has been working hard to create some delicious specials for next week, and we can't wait for you to come and try them out. Here's what we have in store for you:

  • Tuesday 3.12 – For lunch, we have a mouth-watering Pulled Pork Sandwich for $12.95. For dinner, we have a classic Meatloaf & Mashed Potato for $17.95.
  • Wednesday 3.13 – For lunch, we have a tasty Tuna Wrap for $12.95. For dinner, we have a hearty Osso Bucco for $22.95.
  • Thursday 3.14 – For lunch, we have a refreshing Southwest Salad for $12.95. For dinner, we have a traditional Corn Beef & Cabbage for $18.95, which we will serve on the 14th, 15th & 16th.
  • Friday 3.15 – For lunch, we have a delicious Cuban Sandwich for $12.95. For dinner, we have a classic Fish Fry for $19.95.
  • Saturday 3.9 – For lunch, we have a savory Grilled Red Fish for $12.95. For dinner, we have a succulent Prime Rib for $28.95.
  • Sunday 3.10 – For breakfast, we have 2 poached eggs over corned beef hash for $12.95.
