Jason's Weekly De-Scramble 3.22.24

Good afternoon Arlington Ridge,

Hope everyone is having a great week and is finally enjoying the beautiful weather…

The maintenance team had a great week as it seems the weather has made a positive change. We are getting our warm weather which helps the growth of the golf course. This past week they continued to spot spray for weeds, and I’ve seen great improvement as they are dying, and some areas are looking better. We also put out another fertilization on the tees, fairways, and greens as we prepare for the summer weather. We are trying to get more growth in all areas of the golf course. Next week we will continue to spot spray for weeds, spike the greens in the weak areas to promote growth and getting oxygen in them, and will also do another light top dress on the greens as well. The team will also start working on the tee box areas and putting new mulch down where we took out the cordgrass to start making these areas look better as well. Overall, I’m starting to see a lot of positive growth in all areas and making sure that we continue to spot spray for weeds daily.

I’m currently working on looking for a tree company to come out and finish the tree cutting for us as I’ve asked the maintenance team to focus on the golf course and get the conditions we are all looking for. We are also looking at cart path areas and have a plan to start making these areas look better and smother as you exit to the fairways.

We are 100% committed to focus on the golf course and to get the conditions we all want. We appreciate all the comments and letting us know when something doesn’t look correct.

Tomorrow starts the Member / Guest and I appreciate everyone that signed up and is supporting this wonderful event. We have 22 teams playing and I know it will be a successful event. Our goal is to continue to make all member events better and get more individuals to play.

Please sign up for the following events and as I said last week would really love to see the number continue to grow:

· Member / Member – April 11th, 12th & 13th – 8:30 shotguns

· ARGC Street Challenge – April 25th – 8:30 Shotgun

· Mela-No-More – May 4th – 8:30 Shotgun

We are very excited to host these events and hopefully we can sell them out.

As we continue to grow in F&B Department and continue to grow as a team, we truly appreciate everyone’s support. As I’ve said before please try to call and make reservations so we can be prepared for everyone and make sure no one has a long wait on anything.

Please make sure you stop by Chatham’s and try our new pastries that we are serving. These pastries come in fresh every Tuesday and Friday so please stop by and try them. Also, every Sunday and Thursday we will run a special of 25% off on these items. The comments from this have been fabulous and we are very excited as we’ve seen some really positive growth in Chatham’s in the past few weeks.

Also please make sure you are signed up for our Easter Sunday Brunch as we are running three (3) seatings starting at 9:00 am, 10:30 am and 12:00 pm. We are almost at the point were the 12:00 seating is full.

Here are next weeks specials in the Restaurant:

· Saturday – 3.30.24 – Lunch – Fish Tacos - $12.95 – Dinner – Prime Rib - $28.95

· Sunday – 3.31.24 - Breakfast – Easter Brunch - $24.95

These specials look great, and we truly hope that we get a lot of people to come in and try these. As April approaches we are going to try new and different specials that month and hope that you all continue to support us.

One other major change in the F&B Department is that starting on Sunday March 31st the restaurant will close at 2:00 pm and we will do this each week. Also starting Monday April 1st, the Bar and restaurant will be closed all day. The Golf Shop will have product to sell and make sure you can get what you need. We are doing this as Monday’s and Sundays at certain times aren’t profitable and my main focus is saving money.

Overall, we continue to grow, and we continue to get better. We truly appreciate everyone’s support and let’s close the month out strong and get to see everyone supporting the wonderful property. Also, we are still learning from our mistakes, and we will continue to make them as long as we learn from them and grow, they will go away. My office is always open for constructive criticism as my main goal is to see Arlington Ridge Golf Club grow.

Thanks for your time and have an enjoyable weekend!!

Sincerely,
