Happy Friday
I hope everyone is having a great week…
Well, we got our wish and had close to 6” of rain this week and the golf course is nice and green, and the maintenance team has done a great job with getting the golf course in better shape daily. We continue to fight the weeds daily and I know that Danny has a nice plan for that as well… He has also started the project for fixing the holes in the rough. We are currently putting divot mix in these areas and will smooth them out after he spreads the product. This will take some time as we have numerous areas that he is working on. If you get a chance look at these areas and let us know what you think.
We have also discussed another project for the golf course that we are looking at and hope after the first of the year we can start with the tree trimming. We are getting better conditions daily, but we still have a long way to go... We appreciate all the patience and support getting the course in better conditions.
I want to thank everyone for playing in the Pink Challenge last Sunday and it was a great event. You all raised over $9,000 for a great cause. Can’t wait to make it a better event and raise more money next year!!
