Jason's Weekly De-Scramble 11.15.24

Good afternoon,

I hope everyone is having a great day and is getting ready for some fall like weather this weekend….

The Maintenance Team another successful week with working on the golf course and continue to get more projects done and continue to make the property better each day. This past week the team accomplished numerous projects they top-dressed all the greens to continue to have a better roll. They have continued to edge cart paths, as well as started a mulching project on hole 1 to make the Golf Course have a cleaner look. We’ve also sprayed the pre-emergent herbicide, with the second application of post emergent herbicide. We also had the tree company here this week and they focused on the areas that we could get done in the time limit they could be here. I know there are still a lot of areas that need to be trimmed and we have on our list and will focus on these areas during the non-growing season.

Next week the team will continue edging cart paths, finish with the pre-emergent application, verticut and top-dress greens on Monday as we are still working on getting better green conditions on a daily basis. I believe the team is doing a great job working on the course and continue to strive to have better conditions daily.

I know we’ve had numerous comments or concerns on the bunkers and after the Hurricane we had damage to the bunkers, and we’ve turned in a proposal to the CDD to file with the Insurance Company. With that being said I’ve asked Todd to leave the bunkers alone as we are expecting another visit from the Insurance Adjuster. But we are 100% on top of this and will continue to make sure we get this project done correctly.

Golf has been doing awesome as we continue to get numerous new golfers on the property, a decent amount of play is still coming from The Villages on a daily basis. As I’ve mentioned we have booked numerous golf tournaments, and we are getting groups back that have left in the past. We also continue to get 4 and 5 stars reviews on websites as individuals continue to love the course conditions.

Please stop by the Golf Shop and get you Christmas gifts or gift certificates for the Holiday Season as we continue to receive great comments of the product we currently have and please if you’re looking for anything let us know and we will do our best to place an order for you.

Please sign up for the following events:

F&B has continued to get better each day and we continue to have successful days as well as successful events. We had a positive week with continuing to look for new employees, both Jordan and Maj had very successful weeks as they continue to get items crossed off our list. One quick item I would like to bring up as I’ve had some questions on this. I’ve asked the servers as well as back of the house when we are busy to work off tickets as they come in. We don’t move tickets up or jump other tickets so we can make it fair to everyone, we’ve also worked with the team to take an order from one of their tables and go put the order in and come back and take the order from the other table and this will help the kitchen out and we will become more efficient when the staff is 100% trained.
